These pieces are a celebration of Kim's love and fascination with Kintsugi, which is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. This repairs the brokenness in a way that makes the object more beautiful, and even more strong than it was prior to being broken. A reminder to see the beauty in brokenness.
